A Segregated Church: How did we become a segregated church and what can we do about it?

VTS Magazine wrote about the 20th Anniversary Symposium of the African American Episcopal Historical Collection and how speakers shared how they had uncovered their church’s past and what they were doing to promote reconciliation.

The Reverend R. Jermonde Taylor, Rector of St. Ambrose Episcopal Church, Raleigh, NC, spoke about how his church started an environmental justice movement in southeast Raleigh in the 1990s in response to community flooding.
