Hive for Hope and Healing
Providing a financial pathway to mental health counseling for Black residents of Wake County
Made possible through grant funding from the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina to St. Ambrose Episcopal Church, the Hive for Hope and Healing grant program aims to provide accessible, reliable, culturally-affirming mental health counseling and psychoeducation to Black residents of Wake County, NC. The Hive for Hope and Healing partners with culturally competent, licensed clinical mental health therapists within our community who will provide high quality psychotherapy to participants. To help remove the financial barrier to receiving therapy services, our grant program supports up to 10 paid individual sessions for qualified recipients. It is our hope to reduce barriers to care and foster healing for Black individuals within our community.
The Hive for Hope and Healing program is designed to be radically welcoming, infinitely supportive and intentionally focused on fostering community healing.
