Worship with Us

“Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” Psalm 96:9

Worship in Person

In-person Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 8:00 and 10:15 am!

Since we are in Stage 3, all Sunday services (8 am and 10:15 am) are in person. Masks are required and no pre-registration is needed. Those who wish to join from home can still join the 10:15 am service by telephone, Zoom or the website. The church is using both the diocesan and CDC guidelines.

Worship is at the heart of Saint Ambrose. Worship is giving divine honor and praise to God. There are two Sunday morning worship services with Holy Communion. The Contemplative Mass is a quiet, meditative Sunday worship service at 8:00 am with prayers, scripture readings, and a sermon. The 10:15 am Holy Eucharist is a service of prayers, scripture readings, sermon, and Holy Communion featuring the St. Ambrose Choir and musicians leading music from diverse and rich musical traditions. The 12:15 am Wednesday Midweek Mass is a Communion Service with healing prayers and anointing with Holy Oil.

Our Sermons

While preaching one Sunday, Father Jemonde Taylor held up a newspaper in his left hand, saying, “This is news.” He then held up a Bible, saying, “And this is Good News.”

This illustration points to the Reverend Jemonde Taylor’s preaching philosophy. He looks to current and world events with the goal of helping others see the gospel of Jesus Christ. Worship Support

The Saint Ambrose Worship Support team coordinates the essential aspects of worship service, including acolytes, readings, vestments, vessels, flowers, and ushers.

The Saint Ambrose Music Ministry coordinates the music program for the parish for all services, special music programs, choral and instrumental concerts.

Saint Ambrose has been blessed with very talented musicians, who offer their gifts to the glory of God weekly. We have professional and semi-professional musicians in our midst.
