Dr. Eric Tucker is a lecturer in the North Carolina State University School of Social Work. He has over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field as a clinical social worker and healthcare leader. He has served as a leader in various non-profits, community health centers, private practice, and large primary care systems. Known for innovation, critical & analytical thinking, and his ability to build partnerships with diverse people, Dr. Tucker is especially passionate about social justice, holistic health, and sustainability. He routinely presents at regional conferences and workshops, and was most recently a guest panelist in Winston Salem, at the North Carolina Community Health Association, speaking on the importance of access to quality care. 

 

Dr. Tucker received his Bachelor of Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University, Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University (LSU), and his Doctor of Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
