If you wander in the new Columbarium garden at St. Ambrose this month, you’ll discover figs almost ready to eat, blooming hydrangeas, pinks, grasses and veronica and start to see signs of fall. Recently, St. Ambrose has been awarded a Green Grant of $500 from the Diocesan Environmental Ministry Committee. The money will be used to install a durable sign explaining the ecological benefits of the garden and to create guides for garden visitors.
