Upcoming Special Events
Women’s Weekend May 4 and 5
ECW will gather for our annual Women’s Weekend on Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th. All women are invited for a weekend of friendship and fellowship. The following activities need your attention, talents, and strengths to successfully execute our 2024 ECW Women’s Weekend Theme.
All young women are asked to participate in our 2024 Art Show. Design a picture that embodies our 2024 theme of “Legacy of Love for ourselves, our church and our community.” The selected artwork will be on the cover of our Sunday’s Women’s Weekend bulletin. Artwork will be displayed during hospitality and future ECW events.
Saturday, May 4th:
• We will deliver lunch to the Habitat for Humanity build in collaboration with the Laymen, and your assistance is needed.
• A Saturday in-reach fellowship luncheon will be held at the church. Luncheon invitations have already been mailed. RSVP by Friday, April 26th. Contact Emily Cadogan if you have questions.
• Saturday’s activities will consist of exercises and creating prayer beads.
Sunday, May 5th:
• ECW will host hospitality after the 10:15AM service.
• All women are encouraged to wear the colors black, yellow, and white.
Donations are welcome to support our 2024’s Women’s Weekend. Make checks payable to ‘Saint Ambrose Episcopal Church,’ and on the memo line write ‘ECW Women’s Day.’
